 VeeBee plans
70 inch span VeeBee, CAD drawn plans. The plans come printed on 4 sheets 36in x 48in plus printed instrument panel. 41in Floats are included in the plans with all formers and parts drawn. Full length wing (not just one wing panel) is drawn. This is a great flying fun plane that was designed for float flying, it has absolutely no bad habits in the air or on the water and has a wide speed envelope. Landings are a breeze as it can fly quite slowly and takeoffs are an absolute piece of cake, sudden cutting to one side and porpoising are virtually non existent when the floats are built and setup as shown on the plans. The design of the floats when taxiing will put the plane in a good nose up attitude too which really helps keep spray through the prop to a minimum. Flying inverted requires only a slight bit of down elevator and with the recommended throw on the rudder the VeeBee will climb in knife edge flight. Other pilots have also commented that it tracks like it's on rails. This ones definitely my favorite float flyer. It can take a wide range of glow engines (.91 2 or 4 cycle to 1.35 2C or 1.60 4C). A Webra 120 Speed gives fantastic performance. 7 servos were used in my VeeBee, 1 standard Futaba for each elevator half, 1 standard Futaba for the rudder (a high torque 69 oz in. is recommended though), 1 high torque (standard size) Futaba for each aileron and one Hitec HS-81 each for throttle and the water rudder (mounted in right float).

Some additional specs:
962 sq. in. wing area, weight approx. 12 lbs (28.75 oz/sq.ft. wing loading), length w/floats 58.5" w/out 52.5", airfoil is a slightly modified S-8035 (aerobatic rc airfoil).

I can accept PayPal or money orders only. E-mail me if you would like a set before sending any money to check for availability, presently quantities are limited. At the moment i can only ship them folded.
